A woman in her 80s has been killed in a crash in Co Cork.
She was a front seat passenger in a car that was involved in a collision with a van at Rathmore on the N72 between Mallow and Killarney (N72) at 5.20pm.
The woman and her husband were cut from the wreckage of their car by firefighters. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her husband and the van driver were taken to Kerry General Hospital in Tralee.
