A young woman died last night after falling from a balcony in Dublin city centre.
According to a Garda spokeswoman the incident took place when the woman, aged in her mid-20s, fell from a balcony on Parnell Street in Dublin at 1 a.m.
She was admitted to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries and was pronounced dead at 5.30 a.m.
A garda spokesman later said there would be an investigation into the woman's death but that it was not being treated as suspicious.
