Woman dies after crash in Louth

A woman who died after a road crash on Tuesday night in Co Louth was Mrs Alice Carolan, Lynch's Cross, Tullyallen, Drogheda

A woman who died after a road crash on Tuesday night in Co Louth was Mrs Alice Carolan, Lynch's Cross, Tullyallen, Drogheda. She had received injuries in a two-car collision at King Willie's Glen, outside Drogheda, at 9 p.m.

She was brought to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, and transferred to the Mater Hospital, Dublin, where she died. She was the mother of Irish Times High Court reporter Ms Mary Carolan. The driver of the other car was hospitalised.
