A 21-year-old woman has died from injuries sustained in a car crash in Co Armagh in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A 21-year-old woman has died from injuries sustained in a car crash in Co Armagh in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The woman, named by police as Katherine Kelly, was among three people seriously injured in the crash on the Armagh Road, near Portadown. She was from the Portadown area, police said.

Two other people, a 19-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man, are still being in treated in hospital for their injuries.

A spokesman for the PSNI said one car was involved in the crash and have appealed for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.

The road was closed for a period from about 4am on Saturday.

Diversions have been put in place at Artabrackagh Road and at the junction of Armagh Road and North Way.
