A woman cyclist has died in a collision in Dublin today.

A woman cyclist has died in a collision in Dublin today.

She died following the crash on Nephin Road, Cabra at about 12.30pm. The road was closed from the N3/Navan Road to the Boogeys Road afterwards.

A girl (12) has died and another girl (10) is in a serious condition in hospital following a collision between a car and an SUV in Co Mayo yesterday evening.

The crash took place at Old Head, Louisburgh at 5pm.

The girl who died was a back seat passenger in the car. She was taken to Mayo General Hospital where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The other girl was also a passenger in the car.
