A 48-year-old woman has been charged with murdering her 21-year-old daughter in Cork almost two years ago.
Mary Prendergast (48) was charged at Dun Laoghire District Court this morning with murdering her daughter Jessica Prendergast in a house on Old Commons Road, Blackpool, Cork city, on July 29th, 2006. She was remanded until March 5th for preparation of a book of evidence.
