A 43-year-old woman has appeared at Omagh Magistrates Court charged in connection with hoax bomb warnings in the town

A 43-year-old woman has appeared at Omagh Magistrates Court charged in connection with hoax bomb warnings in the town. Ms Pamela Saulters, Crevenagh Road, Omagh, was charged yesterday with communicating false information about bombs in phone calls on May 27th.

Mr Adrian O'Kane, defending solicitor, said that on that day Ms Saulters had consumed alcohol. He said she suffered from physical and mental disabilities.

The resident magistrate, Mr B.P. McElholm, said he would not be able to grant bail. Ms Saulters was remanded in custody to Omagh Court on Tuesday.
