Woman charged over North rioting

Police in Northern Ireland tonight charged a woman (48) with rioting in east Belfast last June.

Police in Northern Ireland tonight charged a woman (48) with rioting in east Belfast last June.

She was also charged with intentionally encouraging and assisting a riot on June 20th and 21st. She will appear before Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Separately two 17-year-old teenage boys and an 18-year-old man were charged in relation to rioting in the markets area of south Belfast on March 12th.

All three will appear before Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow
