Madrid - A woman was axed to death and her eight-year-old daughter lost three fingers when a man attacked them in the car-park of a Madrid shopping centre, police said yesterday.
The man split the skull of Ms Concepcion Bermejo (31), killing her instantly. Her daughter had three fingers amputated later due to injuries she suffered trying to protect her mother, police added. The man was overpowered by security guards.
