A woman has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in a house in Co Tipperary last night.
The body of the man was found in the house in Newline area of Roscrea after gardaí were called at about 11pm. The victim (36) was found dead in the kitchen and had been stabbed a number of times.
The woman is being held in Thurles Garda Station under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act.
The victim's body was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital for a postmortem by the State Pathologist and the scene has been sealed off pending a forensic examination.
