A woman who signed her sister's name on a bail bond will receive probation if she undergoes drug addiction treatment.

Alison O'Connor, (24), of Roseglen Avenue, Kilbarrack, admitted an offence under the Forgery Act of giving her sister's name when released on bail for a shoplifting offence on December 9th last.

Judge Gerard Haughton remanded her on bail to July 16th at Dublin District Court yesterday. He said he will apply probation if there are no further offences and the defendant co-operates with drug screening tests.
