London - An elderly woman has died a week after being savagely beaten by an attacker who escaped with £50 in cash, police said.
The 88-year-old was repeatedly kicked in the head and body by a robber who forced his way into her ground-floor flat in Finsbury Park, north London. The attack happened on January 27th. The victim, who has not been named by police, died early on Thursday.
