A 79-year-old woman has died in a house fire in Co Galway.
The fire broke out in Roundstone before 8 a.m. The alarm was raised by a neighbour.
The woman was living in the house with her son, but it is unclear if he was in the house at the time.
The cause of the blaze is unknown as yet, but the scene has been sealed off for technical examination.
