A woman (75) was killed crossing a road in Castleisland, Co Kerry, this afternoon.
The woman was crossing the main street in the town at about 12.30 when she was struck by an articulated lorry and died at the scene.
Her name has not yet been released and the Garda have issued an appeal for witnesses.
