A woman (74) was killed this morning when her car collided with another car and an articulated truck.
Gardaí at Galway are investigating the collision, which occurred at about 7am at Carnmore West, Co Galway.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and the road has been closed off for examination. It is to reopen this evening.
