A woman (37) has been found dead in her house in Dungarvan, Co Waterford.
The discovery at the house on O'Connell Street at 8 a.m. is being treated as suspicious, gardaí said. A spokeswoman refused to say if the woman suffered any injuries.
The woman was found in her bed by a family member. No one else was in the house at the time.
The scene has been sealed off pending examination by the Garda Technical Bureau and the State Pathologist.
