A 21-year-old woman was killed at the weekend in a single-vehicle car crash in Co Galway.
The incident happened at about 6pm on Saturday on a minor road at Ardskeamore, between the N63 and Corofin village near Tuam.
Gardaí said that the victim was alone in the car, which lost control before it hit a wall.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was removed to University College Hospital, Galway.
