Kenny Miller grabbed an unlikely winner for Wolves to stun champions Manchester United at Molineux today.

Miller fired past Tim Howard in the 67th minute to seal a momentous win for the Premiership's rock-bottom club.

Paul Ince had earlier struck the post from long-range while substitute David Bellion was denied a late equaliser by a fine save from Michael Oakes.

Irwin almost capped his final appearance against his former club with Wolves' second in the 73rd minute but his long-range free-kick was tipped over by Howard.

But substitute Bellion should have equalised two minutes later after wriggling through the Wolves defence and firing a shot which Oakes did well to parry.
