Witnesses to fatal accident sought

Gardai in Moate, Co Westmeath, are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic accident on the outskirts of Moate (the Athlone side) which occurred at 2.30 a.m. on October 13th, 1997. One car was involved and the driver, a 32-year-old man, died when the vehicle collided with concrete bollards. Information should be given to gardai at Moate (0902-81106) or Athlone (0902-92660).
