Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses to a serious assault in Wexford to contact them.
A man in his 40s was discovered at a derelict hotel at St Helens in Rosslare shortly after 2pm on Friday November 18th.
He was taken to Wexford General Hospital and subsequently transferred to Beaumont Hospital as a result of his injuries.
Gardaí are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the St Helens area between the early hours of Friday morning and 2pm to contact them at Wexford Garda station on 053 9165200.
