A 20-year-old man was in a critical condition in Beaumont Hospital last night after an attack in Mullingar.
Gardaí are seeking witnesses to the attack, on Pearse Street at 2.40am on Friday. Two men aged 20 and 21 and a woman of 19 were arrested and later released without charge. A file is to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
