Gardai in Kildare were last night still seeking witnesses to a fatal road traffic accident at Cherryville on Thursday and are anxious to talk to two truck-drivers who stopped at the scene to offer assistance.
The driver of a truck died in the incident, on the main road between Kildare Town and Monasterevin at around 3.20 p.m. A 40ft articulated truck was also involved in the accident.
