Witnesses of fatal accident sought

Gardai are looking for witnesses of a fatal accident, which happened just before 2 p.m

Gardai are looking for witnesses of a fatal accident, which happened just before 2 p.m. yesterday on the railway line near Killiney. A 37-year-old man was killed after being struck by the Dublin-Rosslare passenger train.

The line between Bray and Killiney was closed for several hours and the body was removed by ambulance to St Colmcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown. Gardai did not release the name of the victim.
