The Belfast trial of three men accused of murdering Lurgan schoolboy Gavin Malcolm (15) was adjourned for the second time in a week yesterday because the chief prosecution witness refused to continue giving evidence.

Thomas Haggan (19), a self confessed killer, refused to answer questions yesterday, saying it was "annoying". He is to be examined by a doctor see if he is fit to be cross examined by lawyers.

Mr Justice McCollum adjourned the trial until today.
