London - The Rev Lucy Winkett, whose appointment to minor canon at St Paul's Cathedral, provoked considerable controversy last February admitted yesterday that she feels trepidation ahead of her installation at a service on Sunday.
Ms Winkett (29) will be working alongside at least two members of the cathedral chapter who have made clear their objection to women priests. The Dean of St Paul's, the Very Rev John Moses, said Ms Winkett had been harrassed by constant media inquiries over the past eight months.
