A 76-year-old widow died in a fire in a farmhouse in Blackwater, between Sneem and Kenmare, Co Kerry, at the weekend. The woman was dead on arrival at Tralee General Hospital. Gardai say a gas heater may have been the cause of the blaze which destroyed the two-storey house.
