A Wicklow man has been charged with robbery and false imprisonment of a woman in Carlow last Friday night.
Mr Lawrence Murphy (35), a carpenter, from Woodfield, Baltinglass, was charged at a special sitting of Baltinglass District Court on Saturday evening.
He was remanded in custody until next Wednesday.
