Nairobi - Kenya's only white member of parliament was sacked yesterday as an assistant minister after he said that his farm had been invaded by squatters in a move linked to the Zimbabwe land crisis.
State radio announced that President Daniel arap Moi had fired Mr Basil Criticos, assistant minister of roads and public planning, with immediate effect. It did not give a reason for his dismissal.
