When in Rome, Facebook's Zuckerberg leaves no tip

He may be worth $19 billion (€15.2 billion), but Mark Zuckerberg has been branded a scrooge in Rome.

He may be worth $19 billion (€15.2 billion), but Mark Zuckerberg has been branded a scrooge in Rome.

Lunching with his new wife, Priscilla Chan, on their honeymoon, the Facebook co-founder ran up a not-so-massive bill of €32 at the restaurant Nonna Betta this week.

However, he neglected to add any tip, according to reports.

The couple stuck to antipasti of deep-fried artichoke and just one dish of sea bass ravioli, washed down with water and a pot of tea.

The restaurant’s owner defended Mr Zuckerberg, saying he was “in a hurry”.

“They were really in love, eating from the same plate of ravioli,” he said.– (Guardian service)
