The west Belfast Feile An Phobail, promoted as "Europe's biggest community festival", has been continuing over the weekend with a carnival parade and a celebrity 5 km charity fun run, whose participants included the Health Minister, Ms Bairbre de Brun.
As well as drama, sporting events and traditional music, international acts such as Juan De Marcos's Afro-Cuban All Stars are taking part in the week-long festival. The festival will conclude next weekend with a performance by the folk-group Seanachai on Saturday and a Seventies night on Sunday.
