Edinburgh - Wales's vegetarian Agriculture Secretary has been sacked from the Welsh assembly cabinet.

Edinburgh - Wales's vegetarian Agriculture Secretary has been sacked from the Welsh assembly cabinet.

Ms Christine Gwyther, who has faced constant opposition since she was appointed to the first assembly cabinet last year, is to be replaced by her deputy, Mr Carwyn Jones. Announcing Ms Gwyther's departure, the First Secretary, Mr Rhodri Morgan, said it was his decision and she had not resigned.
