Way out west

FIANNA Fail canvassers in Dublin West had a nasty fright this week. As they made their way around one big estate they were confronted "by a few fellows in balaclavas who wanted to check our credentials. I think they thought we were on their patch". The canvassers believe they might have been drugs vigilantes but they didn't ask. Nor did they ask for their No 1.
