Waterford Wedgwood has appointed Anthony Jones as its chief financial officer with immediate effect.
He replaces Patrick Dowling, who retires in the New Year, at the crystal and china maker.
For the past five years, Mr Jones has been the CFO of Thorn, the multinational consumer electrical goods group.
