Madrid - Six people were killed and 30 injured yesterday when a water tower collapsed in the Spanish enclave of Melilla in north Africa, police said.

Spanish state radio cited government sources as saying the number of dead could rise as high as one dozen. "The official death toll has risen to six, and 30 people have been reported injured," said a Melilla police spokeswoman. "We haven't ruled out the possibility of finding other victims."
