The meeting at Warwick was abandoned after temperatures fell to minus two overnight.

Clerk of the course Robert Bellamy said: "We have abandoned. The course is still covered with snow and frozen in many parts."

Geoff Stickels, clerk of the course at Plumpton, said: "We were down to minus four at it's worst last night and we're still at minus three now."
