Manila - A 65-nation AIDS congress ended yesterday with warnings of a more virulent epidemic in Asia, but no solution to the problem of how millions of impoverished Asians could afford expensive drugs developed in the West.
The congress issued a manifesto calling for increased government funding of the campaign to combat the epidemic and inclusion of the HIV/AIDS problem in all health planning.
