LONDON - A British scientist said yesterday that some of Britain's Gulf War veterans showed signs of suffering nerve damage.
Announcing the results of his pilot study, Dr Goran Jamal said follow up studies were urgently needed to examine everything from toxic poisoning to birth defects in their children. "It is unwise any longer to dismiss the existence of this problem," Dr Jamal said.
