NICOSIA - Turkish and Turkish Cypriot forces began four days of joint military manoeuvres in and around northern Cyprus yesterday, Turkish Cypriot defence officials said. Around 30,000 troops as well as tanks, ships and aircraft will take part in the exercises in the self proclaimed Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the waters of the eastern Mediterranean.
