A walk from Land's End to John O'Groats will start on June 1st in memory of the only Irishman to die of CJD. It will raise money for the Northern Ireland Hospice in Belfast.
Maurice (Mo) Callaghan died on November 4th, 1994, of the new strain of the disease, which has been linked with, BSE in cattle.
His brother Frank will make the walk, starting on Mo's birthday, June 1st.
