THE two waitresses who were severely burned in an accident at the Killiney Court Hotel in south Co Dublin are still in a serious condition in St James's Hospital. Ms Pauline Henderson is critical following the accident on Thursday evening. The condition of the second waitress, Ms Anne Downey, has improved slightly, according to a hospital representative.

The accident happened in the hotel kitchen as the waitresses tried to put a flame to a baked Alaska.
