Vodafone Group is on track to buy Czech mobile operator Oskar Mobil and a 79 per cent stake in Romanian wireless operator Mobifon, the Financial Timesreported today.
Vodafone is close to clinching a deal with the eastern European companies' current owner, Montreal-based Telesystems International Wireless, the FTreported.
Any deal would be worth about $4.5 billion.
