Jimmy White treated Wembley to a vintage display last night and now stands just two wins away from his first Masters title in two decades.

White proved his first Masters victory over Stephen Hendry in the previous round was no fluke by defeating fellow Londoner Peter Ebdon 6-4.

The Whirlwind compiled two century breaks during the highest quality match of the tournament so far, mixing brilliant potting with some watertight safety.

However, if the 41-year-old left-hander is to end his 20-year wait for the title he must defeat Ronnie O'Sullivan in the semi-finals tonight.
