Rennes - The results of DNA samples taken from 169 men in the French village of Pleine Fougeres, where a British schoolgirl Caroline Dickinson was raped and murdered 15 months ago have all proved negative, her father said yesterday.

Mr John Dickinson, a local authority environmental health technician from Bodmin, Cornwall, was told of the results by French lawyers. Caroline (13) died in a shared youth hostel dormitory in Pleine Fougeres, while on a school trip with a party from Launceston community college.
