Vietnamese storm toll

Hanoi - Vietnam's biggest search and rescue operation has saved some 900 fishermen whose boats were swamped by Typhoon Linda last Sunday, an official newspaper said yesterday. The death toll has risen to 336, and 1,864 fisherman are still missing and feared dead.
