A video "pirate" made hundreds of copies of major films, including the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast, a court heard yesterday. A prosecuting lawyer told Belfast Crown Court that the RUC seized nearly 1,000 illegal cassettes in two raids at houses used bye Stephen Peacock (32), from Portallo Street, Belfast.
Imposing a one year jail sentence, Judge Patrick Markey said the offences were very serious and it was only Peacock's guilty plea which saved him from a much longer term.
