London - An Anglican bishop said yesterday he was "greatly saddened" after a Church of England vicar admitted having oral sex with two Romanian boys aged under 14.
The Rev Michael Taylor, vicar of St David's in Eastwood, Essex, has admitted the offences, the British Consul, Mr Maurice Harper, said in Bucharest.
Bishop John Perry of Chelmsford said: "The church has a special responsibility under God to protect the young."
