Venezuela will nationalize three foreign cement companies, including Mexico's Cemex, in a drive to increase state control of the country's key industries, the government said today.
Venezuela's Oil Minister Rafael Ramirez said the government will take control of at least 60 per cent of the operations in the OPEC nation of the three companies, which also include France's Lafarge and Switzerland's Holcim.
