A 48-year-old van driver died when his vehicle collided with a truck, gardai said today.
He was named this afternoon as Noel Foy of Rochford Abbey, Kill, Co. Kildare.
The incident happened at Blackhill outside Kill at 4pm yesterday afternoon.
The victim died at the scene and his body was removed to Naas General Hospital.
The driver of the truck was uninjured and there was no-on else involved.
