ORASJE - An advance party of a 5,000-strong US army force assigned to cover a withdrawal of American peacekeeping troops from Bosnia entered the country yesterday, eyewitnesses said.

Almost two dozen US army trucks and all-terrain vehicles along with two buses rolled across a US military pontoon bridge spanning the Sava River at midday. Some 15,000 troops of the US 1st Armoured Division poured into Bosnia at the same place 10 months ago.
