Beijing - The US has repatriated 246 stowaways to China, in an effort to stem the flow of people making the hazardous, expensive and illegal journey to the West, officials said yesterday.
US officials also held talks with Chinese authorities on ways to curb the flow of "human cargo" which is expected to rise as unemployment in China and the demand for cheap labour in the US remain high.
